Sarah Schoback

Owner & Coach

Sarah opened Obstacle Academy in the Summer of 2016 with the help of Hunter Guerard and Kyle Soderman. She has competed on American Ninja Warrior Seasons 9 and 10, the Obstacle Course World Championships, and Ninja vs. Ninja. She is  married to her husband of 10 years and has two young girls.

Hunter Guerard

Youth Ninja Team Program Director

Hunter is the lead Coach of the Youth Ninja Team program, and oversees all obstacle management and gym safety. Hunter has been at Obstacle Academy from the beginning. He has competed on American Ninja Warrior Seasons 9, 10, & 11 and American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja.

Sara Heesen

Gym Manager & Ninja Team Coach

Sara is one of the original Minnesota Ninja Warrior athletes. Sara has been involved with the sport since 2014 and has competed on American Ninja Warrior Seasons 9 & 10. 

Mason Engnes

Ninja Team Coach

Mason joined Obstacle Academy in the summer of 2017 and was integral to launching the Youth Ninja Team program. He is a 4-time applicant of American Ninja Warrior and has competed in the Obstacle Course Racing World Championships

Sam Farr

Ninja Team Coach

Sam is an emerging next generation Ninja Warrior athlete and one of our most dedicated Coaches. Sam coaches on the weekends and runs our youth ninja warrior summer camps.

Leif Sundberg

Leif is one of Obstacle Academy's weekend warrior coaches and coaches Monday night adult WARCOUR class. Leif has competed on American Ninja Warrior Season 8 & 10. He is currently attending school to become a Physicians Assistant.

Jamie Ross

Coach

Jamie is one of Obstacle Academy's weekend warrior coaches. Jamie competed on American Ninja Warrior Season 10. She is currently attending school to become an Ultrasound Technican.

Jadde Rowe

Coach

Jadde is one Obstacle Academy's weekend warrior Coaches. He is a competitive OCR and Ninja Warrior athlete.

David Sellers

Coach

David is one of Obstacle Academy's weekend warrior Coaches. He actually competed on American Ninja Warrior Season 4 and has served as a course tester for the series in nearly every season since.

Josh Rundquist

Coach

Josh is an Obstacle Academy weekend warrior Coach. Josh is an avid OCR athlete having travelled the country to compete in some of the most challenging OCR endurance events. He has also regularly qualifies to compete at the Obstacle Course Racing World Championships.

Jenn is an Obstacle Academy weekend warrior Coach. She competed on American Ninja Warrior Season 10.
