HOW ARE INITIAL RANK SCORES DETERMINED?

Rank scores carry over from the previous MNS season. If an athlete is new to the MNS, they will start out with a rank score of 1000.

HOW DO RANK SCORES CHANGE EACH COMPETITION?

Rank Scores change each competition based on how differently each athlete placed in relation to their Rank Scores before the competition. If the athlete with the highest Rank Score places relatively low, their Rank Score will drop significantly. If an athlete with the lowest Rank Score wins, their Rank Score will go up significantly.

• Low Rank Score + low placement = small raise in in Rank Score

• Low Rank Score + high placement = raise in Rank Score

• High Rank Score + low placement = drop in Rank Score

• High Rank Score + high placement = small raise in Rank Score​

The Midwest Ninja Series is open to any athlete. Keep in mind, this league is for athletes looking for competitive competitions.

MY CHILD'S BIRTHDAY IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SEASON, WHICH DIVISION SHOULD THEY BE IN?

Divisions are determined by age of athlete on the first day of Finals for that season.
